Derek is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations for all multifamily construction projects in the Central U.S. Region. Derek has been involved in the construction industry since 2000. During his career, he has worked across the United States as an Owners Rep, General Contractor, and Construction Manager. Through the years, he has been involved in the design, construction, and development of a variety of projects that include a presidential library, data centers, retail, student housing, multifamily, university, and K-12 .  Derek holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.

Prior to joining the company, Shanon was with Wade Construction Group, Inc since its formation in 2008 as the Chief Financial Officer.  She managed several other roles, from Payroll, Human Resources, Benefits, Risk Management, and investments.  Shanon began her career in the Construction industry in 2000 at Phoenix Property Company working directly with consultants, sub-contractors, and suppliers throughout the duration of the Multifamily projects. Shanon holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Texas A&M University-Commerce

Brenda Prewitt began her career in Construction in 2013 starting as a Project Administrator. Her experience and specialty in project-related administrative and accounting functions for large scale multifamily projects is what led her to join Leon MF Construction, LLC in February 2022 as the Operations Manager. She collaborates closely with owners, consultants, sub-contractors, and suppliers from start to finish, averaging five ongoing projects at a time. Over the years Brenda has been part of building Luxury Multifamily Living ranging from 225 to 415 units.

Construction Management professional with over 40 years’ experience in construction with a completed project portfolio exceeding $2 billion including Healthcare, Higher Education, Federal, Science & Technology, Corporate, Commercial, Education K -12, Hospitality, Retail, Distribution, Student Housing, Mixed Use and Multi-Family Housing. A result orientated manager adept at balancing changing priorities with a focus on delivering quality, schedule, cost, and safety. Recognized throughout his career for his ability to build he is a leader with integrity and a strong belief in leading by example. With his “Can Do!” attitude Chris is able to leverage his in-depth knowledge of construction and the marketplace to improve an operational effectiveness and produce bottom line results. Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in Building Construction from Texas A&M University.

Jeff Sweazea joined Leon Multifamily in 2022 as a Project Manager to oversee multifamily projects in the Central Texas area. Jeff began his career in construction management in 2004 and has managed projects of single family residential new construction, multifamily garden style new construction, multifamily major rehabilitations, and commercial construction. He also worked as a Senior Planner for approximately $1.9 billion in construction building 4G networks and HVDC electric transmission lines. He has completed projects all across the US and in Canada. Jeff holds a B.B.A in Finance from Texas State University in San Marcos, TX and has a Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification.
