Hangar 19 is the 351-unit garden-style community located on the far eastern end of Fort Worth, TX, placing the site equidistant between Dallas and Fort Worth. Hangar 19 is the second phase to Hillstone at CentrePort.
The project is directly south of the DFW International Airport and is within the CentrePort Business Park, which is home to several large corporate campuses including American Airline’s Global Headquarters.
Leon Multifamily was able to effectively secure the project’s entitlements and lower project costs simultaneously by selling off excess land to retail and commercial developers, thereby exceeding the city’s desired amount of non-residential development while significantly reducing the project’s land basis.
Delivery of the club house and first units were two months ahead of schedule partially due to the understanding of the city process and requirements of city inspectors.
Hangar 19 incorporates “lessons learned” from the first phase by further refining the amenity package and floorplan layouts .
